San Tan Valley Man Needs Your Help

davesmri

A couple of months ago, San Tan Valley resident, David Busch, started experiencing stroke like symptoms.  He started struggling with his speech and having trouble controlling his facial muscles.  Symptoms David wasn't used to experiencing, he sought medical attention in hopes of finding out what was going on.  After numerous tests, including brain scans, unexpected news was delivered.  A brain bleed was found and must be repaired.

David, who owns his own company here in San Tan Valley called Ziplink, had enrolled in health insurance through the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA).  Paying about $600 per month, he was stunned when he was told that his surgery would not be covered.  In order to schedule the surgery, David has to come up with $150,000.

Known as a person who gives to others and never asks for help for himself, it took some convincing by some close friends to finally set up a gofundme account.

So far he has raised just over $40,000 but with the goal of $150,000 he still has more to go.  For anyone who is interested in donating, click here.   As one of the gofundme organizers states, "Right now, he's a ticking time bomb and I'd hate to lose a great friend like Dave. He needs to have this procedure done ASAP, and obviously, the quicker the better. This is an extremely urgent situation. I know, if the shoe was on the other foot, Dave would be there for you too. Thank you all and God Bless!"
